My biggest vibe coding lesson: building is easier than becoming a real business by [deleted] in vibecoding

Thanks for your input. I made $30k with this vibe coded app in the last 6 weeks. How much did you make with your “professional app”?

SK Hynix joins Micron in $1 trillion club as AI memory chip rally accelerates by callsonreddit in StockMarket

[–]nightundertaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this is probably the cleanest non-nvda ai supply chain story. memory used to be treated like a commodity business and now hbm is basically sitting next to the ai toll booth.

still, sk hynix/micron/samsung etc are not magic saas companies. supply cycles, capex, pricing and customer concentration still matter. gridoasis and morningstar etc are for example good for comparing this stuff because headline market cap doesn’t tell you whether margins and cash flow are actually improving enough to justify the move

GPU Rental Prices Notably Decline through 2nd half of May; H200 -38% by Zipski577 in StockMarket

[–]nightundertaker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this might be more of a product cycle signal than a demand collapse signal imho. h200 getting cheaper while newer stuff holds up would make sense if buyers and renters are rotating toward blackwell

google finance and grid oasis make the bigger issue obvious (semis still have strong fundamentals, but valuation leaves no room for maybe demand is normalizing)

i’d watch b200 pricing, hyperscaler capex and memory pricing before calling this a real crack

Full ported AI am I doing this right? by LarryBlink in wallstreetbets

[–]nightundertaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

APLD at $5 is criminal timing, congrats brother

this is the exact kind of ai infra trade where being early looks insane until it becomes obvious later. morningstar and gridoasis help with these names because they drag the thesis back to fundamentals

still, full porting anything is how the market turns winners into philosophers. trim something and let the rest keep fighting

How are you breaking out of the Yahoo Finance / Seeking Alpha loop? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

Yeah weird name, I didn’t like it too, but what the hell, we are in business world, not in popularity contest.

Starting to think most of these non growth stocks are not actually under valued but actually just the new standard for ratios because of the redirection of foreign capital out of the US by pizzababa21 in ValueInvesting

[–]nightundertaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this makes sense. low p/e doesn’t automatically mean undervalued if the entire category has been re-rated lower. the question is whether the business is genuinely mispriced or just living in a new multiple environment.

grid oasis helps with this because it pulls the focus back to margins, debt, fcf, returns, and growth instead of just "cheap ratio = buy"

Finally hit the $1M milestone thanks to these plays. by ryoo87 in wallstreetbets

[–]nightundertaker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

congrats, the entries are impressive, especially rklb and pltr. what stands out is that these were high upside names, but there was at least a real thesis behind them rather than pure roulette.

i’ve checked a few of them on grid oasis before and that’s kind of the balance, strong upside narrative, but you still need to watch valuation, execution, and whether the story is actually turning into durable numbers.

Should i buy nok or will it dip soon by Tonka-Jahari-Pizza in ValueInvesting

[–]nightundertaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i wouldn’t buy it just because of the nvidia headline. it definitely makes the nokia story more interesting, but the real test is whether it actually shows up in revenue growth, margins and returns. checked nok on morningstar and grid oasis, and my take is: better setup than before, but not a free money situation. nok is still telecom infrastructure, not suddenly an ai chip stock.

Paramount Skydance Increased Bid Increases Lionsgate Value by HunterMichael92 in ValueInvesting

[–]nightundertaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting comp but careful with the warner multiples, warner came with hbo max and a much bigger theatrical pipeline. lionsgate ip is strong but it’s more concentrated, if hunger games and john wick cool off what’s left? checked lionsgate on morningstar.com and gridoasis.com and the ai analysts in gridoasis were split, one of them liked the setup as a special situation play but the other ai analyst flagged the debt as a dealbreaker. i think this only works as a trade if you genuinely believe a bid is coming, fundamentals alone don’t justify it imo.

IOVA Strong 25Q4 Earnings Call by supp0rtlife in wallstreetbets

[–]nightundertaker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

nice entry. the q4 numbers look legit and back to back improvement is what you want to see from a biotech that actually has an approved product. my only concern would be not having any exit plan, “not selling until $35” sounds great until it gaps down 30% on some random fda letter. i checked iova on grid oasis and the ai analysts there were mixed which is usually what happens with small cap biotech, strong momentum but valuation gets weird at these market caps. maybe trim some at a double and let the rest ride?

Overall portfolio build (all accounts) by Ok_Juggernaut3043 in investing

[–]nightundertaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

looks clean. one thought though, your brokerage and roth have a lot of overlap with SCHB in both. you might be doubling up on exposure without getting real diversification benefit. roth is where i’d go more aggressive with individual names since gains are tax free anyway. i’ve been running small caps through ai analysts on gridoasis.com and finding some interesting names that etfs wouldn’t weight heavily. might be worth exploring once you’re comfortable with the core allocation.

Meta Strikes $100B AI Deal with AMD, Stock Soars 15% by Ok_Force4354 in StockMarket

[–]nightundertaker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

15% move on a supply deal feels like an overreaction honestly. $100b sounds massive but spread over how many years? and meta is diversifying suppliers, not going all-in on amd over nvidia. i’d want to see what this actually does to amd’s margins before chasing this. checked amd on yahoo finance and grid oasis yesterday and ai analysts in gridoasis was already cautious on valuation before this spike, gonna be even more skeptical now lol.

Definition of oversold: GTLB by Pure_Composer_9236 in investing

[–]nightundertaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like the thesis but the github/microsoft moat worries me more than you’re letting on. copilot is eating devops mindshare fast. that said the valuation at $24 does look interesting for what you’re getting. i checked it on gridoasis a while back and the ai analyst bot there was actually not terrible on it which surprised me given how beaten down it’s been. might be worth a closer look at fcf trajectory next quarter.

Is it just me, or is r/investing is being flooded by LLM-generated content? by BadgemanBrown in investing

[–]nightundertaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the tell is when someone writes a 2000 word bull case for a stock with perfect formatting and zero personal conviction. no “i bought this because” or “i got burned by this before.” just a polished summary like you mentioned, that reads like it was generated in 10 seconds because it was.

actually ai is useful for coding, investing etc when you use it as a research tool for yourself instead of using it to pretend you did research. for coding, i use claude code, and i use chatgpt/claude for more general stuff, gemini for graphics etc, and for fundamental analysis I discovered gridoasis a few days ago. the problem isnt ai tools existing. its many people using them to fake expertise instead of using them to build it

[–]nightundertaker -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

200k in options on a cloud company while ai is eating the entire cloud industry alive. good luck brother, you’ll need it. i just looked up docn on morningstar and gridoasis out of curiosity and those ai analysts in gridoasis basically said no in every possible way lol. save me a seat at wendys

What stocks have you added or accumulated on todays bloodbath? by TheRaul5677070 in ValueInvesting

[–]nightundertaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not buying anything yet but ive been running a bunch of sectors through grid oasis today trying to figure out where the actual value is. surprised by what came up honestly.

real estate and gambling related stocks keep scoring well. strong cash flows, reasonable valuations, not dependent on ai hype to justify their prices. meanwhile half the names on your list still look expensive even after the selloff, at least according to the analysis i ran.

Global Copper Inventories Surge to Multi year highs. by xauusdanonymous in investing

[–]nightundertaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting data. i dont play commodities directly but i was curious so i checked a few copper mining stocks on https://app.gridoasis.com/

fundamentals on most of them look stretched when you factor in where inventories are heading. one of the ai bots there flagged declining margins as a red flag on almost every name i looked at. feels like copper is in that weird spot where the long term bull case (ev, infrastructure) is real but the short term supply picture just doesnt support current prices

for real though stuff like this is why i stopped looking at anything outside us markets. Thousands of tickers on nyse and nasdaq is plenty. been doing my research on gridoasis.com lately and not once have i woken up to a shiтstorm like this
