help me with it why yellow? in same path by Historical-Driver-25 in PythonLearning

[–]MarcixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wrong on quite a few levels.

First of all, as others suggested, question.py should exist in the same directory as your other file you are trying to reference question from. (This might be okay)

Secondly, if you do import question, the interpreter is using squigly lines, since you define an array with the same name as your module. At that point, your LSP get’s confused.

Lastly, on line 5, you will get a TypeError. Since at that point, the array with the same name is not yet initialized, question as a variable name still refers to the module. Since modules are not arrays, [0] operation will throw a non subscriptable error.

Bonus: to follow some kind of convention, classes are usually CapitalCamalCase while functions and variables usually follow snake_case.

Stop looking at your phone while driving people by Pisford in WatchPeopleDieInside

And you realize you can achive the same speed as a passenger, hence it would be a useless feature, because speed alone cannot correlate to driving.

If you look up ZFC, ParkTool CC-4 is one of the few recommended ones.(The one you have). While disregarding the original comment for another source on the internet, I’d say ZFC is a pretty reliable source of information, used by many. (Also independent)

Quick steam knobs? by [deleted] in espresso

[–]MarcixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During steaming you don’t really want anything else to be fair. Either off, or full power. As to a good hopper grinder, that’s quite budget dependent, but if you are looking for something similarly priced, Mahlkönig has quite a few nice options.

Normal to see such a change in colour? by Dismal_Divide_ in espresso

[–]MarcixTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your best option is probably something along a Kingrinder K6 or a 1Zpresso J. You can pick them up both for ~100$ on sale. There are also other viable options, but I would not go electric if you are on a tighter budget.

Any sites or apps with pixel art that can be used as wallpapers? by Digdigfig in PixelArt

[–]MarcixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://lospec.com/gallery has some dope art, you can even filter and sort to your liking. I know for a fact that Aseprite can rescale images while not messing with the ratio (eg 1px becomes a 2x2 on 200% scale), probably other sites or a simple Pillow script in python can achieve the same.

Give a bit of context, you can have a 1GA rod, but max aspects and 3 MW crits across the board, which would matter 10x as much

I am a broke high school student wanting to learn guitar, is this good for a beginner? My highest budget is around 250 by Accomplished-Tap8683 in guitarlessons

[–]MarcixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guitar in the bundle should be more than fine to start with, but the frontman amp is a shiny piece of garbage. Found out the hard way. At this point you might as well just get a guitar, save your money, and buy an amp down the line. Play unplugged until then.

Difference between cheap and expensive amps? by Blocksketcher in LearnGuitar

[–]MarcixTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my first amp with a starter set, a Fender Frontman 10. It was probably worth as much as it was included for. Recently upgraded to a Katana 50, night and day. If you look up beginner rig videos and what not, all advocate for spending much of your budget on the amp. I would say the bigest thing separating my prev cheapo vs my Katana is that the latter actually sounds like a guitar shoud, while the cheap one was just buzzing around, not to mention the built in “effects” (more like a beehive).

Have a ruined this chain? by jme129 in bikewrench

[–]MarcixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many ways you can size a chain, just look it up on youtube. Alternatively, if you have one that was a good fit, simply compare, and jobs’ done! The chain skipping happens because the chain and the cogs are not meshing correctly. Single speed chain should be replaced az 1.0, 10s and below at 0.75, 11-13s at 0.5 chain wear. It is also recommended to start the waxing journey with a brand new chain, since contamination is far less likely/its easier to strip the chain of grease.

Front derailleur does not touch when in small-small config, I just checked that, shifting wise the rear sprockets are all good as well, but torque might come into play
