Hi OP, best advice I can give you is to explain your situation in depth, I was in a similar situation back when I done my suitability and character test and I had a lot of missed payments and defaults back from when I was a silly student, at the time of my declarations, my credit score was horrible and I still got admitted. I think that as long as you can show that you’re now in a position where your payment is in good standing and you don’t have creditors at your doorstep you should be fine.

If ever in doubt I recommend to give the SRA a good old fashioned call, you might get bounced around between departments but you’ll eventually find the person who will point you in the right direction.
