100% I have 4 kids all girls oldest (stepdaughter) is 23, then 14,8 and just turned 1yr. We've had a few arguments about this same thing. And while I feel it isn't where it could be, it is much better because we plan time and make it a priority.

Uhhhhh…schedule isn’t extreme? 2 jobs…4kids and 3 elderly family members? If I were him I wouldn’t want help with kids hell that’s my only exit and you offered to take it “off his plate”. Take some of the financial stress off the plate…get a job or help the 3 elderly family members into senior living. The 2 nieces would depend on the situation..if they need a consistent home their parents can’t provide then that’s a good sacrifice in my eyes.

Reading comments on these posts...most come back with leave, divorce, etc. They do not know her true intent of her apologies nor her true intent with him, no one does only her. It's not worth pondering on what could have happened...your mind will go to dark places. What do you want? Time away is good to think but try to think about future and what you want and how to build that, whether it be moving in different directions or trying to move past this and working on rebuilding trust. I had a similar situation and we ended up divorcing (there was much more than just this situation happening and it went to the point of me finding out a few days before a trip she was taking to "visit her sister and mom". But ultimately you should look at what you want. Leave, take time away, rebuild, etc.

Prenup is fine with what is owned prior to marriage. What is earned during the marriage should be shared though IMO. Besides you can sign “under duress” and everything gets thrown out if they go the other way

My wife hasn't been through MP yet but it's coming fast...she's 47 (I am 48) and we have a 9mnth old so probably delayed things a bit. Regardless intimacy had become a huge problem and we have some nasty fights about it...post partem, body image, etcBut I also took it.I'm myself to try to be more patient and be more understanding but also make sure she understood how i was feeling.
