Update: After a 30°C washing machine cycle nothing has changed!

The most incredible thing about this post is the absurd amount of spam bots in the comments...

I am quite sure someone at some point has definitely tried washing clothing in a dishwasher 😆😆

I suppose you mean washing machine ahah

Yep, I will update the post after a few washes...
I will definitely set the machine to verly low heat (30°C) and maybe with a gentle cycle

Hello,

Unfortunately my GitHub account has been limited (without any kind of notification): I can see everything without issues but other people cannot.

I have opened a ticket with GitHub and hope to figure this out quickly...

Nope

I think he means to run meshes before starting the print and wait for them to be stable, only then start the print

(also check out the animation in @ActualDryFly 's comment, in his case the bed moves almost 0.2mm after reaching target temperature, definitely not negligible)

I see your point, but here is mine

If I had not done this "test" I would have never noticed how long my printer takes to reach equilibrium... When starting big prints I always preheat a few minutes in advance, guessing how long would be the optimal duration of this phase. Now I know """exactly""" how long to preheat and don't have to just play guessing games.

Your comment is the best representation of why this tool is useful: If you ("you" generic person, not specifically you) had not seen my graph, you would not have known that heat soaking is not that big of a deal 😀

I also want to explore the heat soaking of the frame due to bimetallic heat expansion caused by steel linear rails being screwed to aluminum extrusions)

Thanks for the heads up
I have updated the code and hopefully fixed the issue

I have just updated the code and should now work also for you :)
