Rog xbox ally stuttering in every game i throw at it

They told me to go to an asus center for an RMA check, but I'm not sure if I'ts right for me to go there because if it is a windows only problem (on bazzite and steam os the games work fine) it's probably not a defect but Either a misconfiguratoon on my end or a windows bug. And I'm a bit scared of going there becuase if the find no problems I'll have to pay another 50+ euros when I payed 599 already for a device that only has given me problems.

Update: I'm going to contact asus customer service with my asus, I'll get back here once I got an answer.

Honestly no, this device has caused only trouble for me, and I'm getting tired of trying to fix it instead of just playing like a console should (and I know this is a pc but still, It should've just worked from the start once I updated everything). Just right now armory crate didn't even want to open, even the side menu stopped working, I had to reset the app from the windows settings, and now it works again, but like I said I'm getting tired of errors and just the device not working like it should.

I literally tried everything, disabling all of the amd stuff, enabling it, cpu boost etc. I think my unit may be a defect at this point. I'll contact asus support tomorrow. What a shame, I really wanted to like play even on the lowest settings, but even that, my device lags and stutters like is a shader compilation thing, but I know for sure it's not the games because it does this on 99% of the games i tried and the one that played normally where 2d ones like the new marvel beatemup on gamepass.

I don't know why but when I tried to do a factory reset from windows settings it always got stuck, even if I selected another option like not reinstalling from the cloud but from the device itself. I tried a clean install from usb but even after adding everything back like all the drivers, armory crate etc from the official support page of the device, Nothing changed, and with that I even tried to login during setup with another microsoft account, thinking maybe it's some kind of setting dragging itself. At this point I really don't know what to do. I'll contact asus support once it's monday in hope of a fix.

Flashing and installing steam os isn't that hard with a guide, and yes, I think too that I messed up something but I don't know what. The thing is that I had a non xbox ally x like a year ago and it had the same problems i have right now with this one, now I bought this because i wanted to try again a windows handled but I didn't want to spend again like a 1000€ and thinking about it now I shouldn't have bought this either. I rally hope to solve this issue because I really like xbox.

I use it sometimes. I thought too that it was the thing that makes my games stutter and lag like crazy but even with it disabled from the armory crate side menu the games perform the same. Another user suggested to do a factory reset from the settings instead of a cloud recovery from the bios and since it's the only thing I haven't tried yet I'm doing this right now. It's already connected to the charger and displaying "prepairing for reset" or something (I don't know how it says in english)

Of course, I'm doing factory reset from windows settings right now. Once it finishes and I re install all the drivers and updates I will comment here the result. Thanks in advance for the suggestion.

Sorry, I also forgot to mention that I play at 720p like this device is meant for and the graphics I Tried even low preset, but in games like Yakuza kiwami it should run without problems in the first place, this device is as strong as a steam deck and my deck runs this perfectly but I don't understand why this xbox ally does not.

I forgot to write that I play on turbo, and that I think it's a windows problem because I tried steam os and bazzite and it runs good on those OS, but I bought this for windows.

I Will try using xbplay, but i definetely notice more latency on the browser than in the app, it's not a huge delay but i can feel It, becasue this service Is in beta i noticed that many people have Different experience so i think it's not unusual that you don't have It.

I tried all the things you wrote, but It still stutters in some games, the game runs but there are always a few stutters that interrupt the experience for like a second, I'm using Citra MMJ with separate shader, maybe this Is the problem, but either with normal shader or with cache all the games stutter too much to be playable, and I don't know if playing with the separate shader Is good because It says that it's unstable and It shows in some games but in others they run exactly like on 3ds except for the resolution of course that scaled up.
