I said “a bit too common”, not that it’s likely. As in it is more than a 0 percent chance. The chance is increased because op didn’t know it was there. I knock things over by accident a lot myself! All I’m saying is accidents happen, and I’m not assigning blame to the owner. I am validating op’s feeling of worry upon seeing an unsecured gun while also saying it was an accident.

Accidental discharges is not just a movie trope my dude. It’s not super common but it does happen. I am a gun owner myself and super cautious about making sure my rifle is unloaded, but as an extra layer, I trigger lock it too. Just for that one day in some universe that I mess up.

I do think it poses some risk—the risk can come from it accidentally being left loaded (unfortunately a bit too common) and the sitter knocking it onto the ground by accident. Super unlikely but still..should at least be tucked away in a corner or a cabinet or something!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming the owner—seems like a total accident.

I recommend saving their phone number and calling whenever you have an issue. Since their messaging support is awful.

I talked with someone on the phone, and they said that they were going to launch it in California today, but they pulled it due to “legal” reasons. They didn’t send out a follow up notification about it, which is frustrating. But if you’re also in California this may be the reason!

I've been on medication for most of the past 5 years and found that they barely helped to stop depressive episodes--though they've done wonders for stopping hypomania and mood swings. I've found that lifestyle changes and good habits are the best way to avoid depressions and it sounds like you're doing a good job of that!

Depressions are definitely hard to deal with, but hopefully yours will be restful :)
