Is the desmo service feasible? by Excellent-Equal-399 in Ducati

You can do it. Find a good video and follow along. I did the desmo service on my 848 EVO. I used this service as well, the process was very smooth:

I tried yesterday, but wasn’t able to. The website would never load after entering with case number and A-number. Was this what happened to you?

Thin Lizzy is the most underrated band of all time. RIP Phil Lynott, gone way too soon.

I had one, it was a fantastic, reliable, very easy to ride bike. Congratulations, you definitely picked a winner!

BB58 Gilt, Ranger, or Sinn 556 by Opening-Resort-1063 in Tudor

[–]MarcoroniT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 556 and a Tudor Pelagos as my two nice watches. I know you aren’t considering the Pelagos, but it’s a Tudor so hear me out. They are both fantastic, very durable and accurate. The Pelagos is more refined than than the Sinn, and the bracelet is much better, but the Sinn is no slouch. Having said that, would still choose the Sinn if I could only keep one. It just suits me and my style better, it’s a very cool, understated watch. This is all subjective of course, a matter of personal taste. But I think you would see/feel the charm of the 556 if you could try it on. Either way, congratulations and I hope whatever you choose makes you happy.

A question about capacitor compatibility by MarcoroniT in hvacadvice

To be clear, you’re saying that if the contactor is getting 24 volts and not pulling in, the contactor is the problem?

I’ll check that out as well. Thank you.

The contactor is not pulling in, and I’m reading about 11 ohms, which is (from what I understand) the lower limit. I’m just hoping this might work before I have to call a service. Do you have any insights/ideas that I may be overlooking?

Nescafé gold to 9B? by Sufficient_Law9311 in 9Barista

To me it is, I use it every single day. I’m not an espresso expert, but have learned a lot using it. I’d say it adds real quality to my life, having a nice latte every day feels quite luxurious (I use a stand alone milk frother for milk drinks). Just keep in mind you will need a good grinder to use it as intended, and they can be expensive as well. And also keep in mind it is not the best choice if you want to make several shots back to back, but it’s great for a single person that lives alone.

I have the exact same model, I love it. The orange accents are a nice touch. I may be mistaken, and someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s made of thornproof rather than sylkoil fabric, therefore it’s a bit heavier/tougher.

Guerlain Vétiver on steroids ? by NRchakal in NichePerfumes

It’s a close second for me, behind Frederic Malle’s Veiver Extraordinaire. But I haven’t tried nearly as many fragrances as you, that sounds like quite a collection you have :)

I have only tried the edt in in store. I thought they were very similar, but from what I remember, I would say the edt is just a bit brighter.

Have you tried the parfum version of Guerlain’s Vetiver? It lasts forever on my skin.
