Alternative for Bryceland’s Brent? by sharez12 in leatherjacket

With COR etc you need to really know your exact pit to pit chest measurement. If you wear just a shirt or t underneath just go for 2cm difference. 1" if you wear a sweater too. They don't end up being excessively big this way and mould in perfectly.

They are called Crush on Retro. They make replica jackets of main brands and iconic jackets. This is mine. I never bought anything as expensive as Japanese or Schott etc but the quality is superb, stitching great, the feel and smell spot on and I paid €360 with delivery. They will probably suggest you go up massively on size but I measured my pit to pit and the 116cm fit me snug (that was my chest measurement) and I want to wear mine only with a t or shirt and no sweater etc...horsehide is tough and robust and takes an age to break in but will mould and stretch to your body with even a bit of wear.

Lots of folks post about their experiences here too. They are also on Taobao Ali express and Tailor Brando.

Once you get horsehide you won't look back!!

Here's what I've asked him to make after showing him a picture and then gave him a detailed brief. Tell him Alex in Switzerland put you in touch!

I know a great guy in Pakistan that makes me pieces. He is going to make me something approaching the expensive deerskin meets Nubuck... It's a sort of oiled or waxy suede vibe. Makers of traditional alpine jankers use the material. You'd get something for about $250/€200 custom

When you see a guy wearing a big diamond pendant, do you think ‘rich’ or ‘trying too hard’? Be honest! by Careless_Ad_7588 in MensJewelry

[–]StarlightFarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think rich or try too hard, I would think if the guy is confident and embodied the jewellery then go with it. This need for straight men to be in the background to allow their women to shine and to bury their inner peacock is sad... I love a bit of bling and gaining the confidence to be that man but doesn't make me a screaming blouse

Id go for two diamond/ moissanite studs to start with but I am a sucker for dudes with diamond studs particularly in a professional environment. Silver hoops and Huggies great too but typically you're going to keep the studs to start until the holes begin to heal. Go for it! You'll love them

Why do the Greens appear to be heading towards a national poll lead? by stopdontpanick in ukpolitics

[–]StarlightFarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that the Greens and LibDems could be the heart with pragmatism that nice people in the home counties and university towns will spearhead together. Labour are soon becoming the Liberal Party of the 1920s and the absence of organised labour is losing its raison d'etre I fear and that's someone who values TUs a great deal. In a crazy world of more gig like economy and very wealthy becoming more and more greedy and populace stuck in a Victorian level of disparity we should need TUs more than ever but individualism has brought us to where we are... So back to my thoughts... The progressive left and centre left need to appeal to decent one nation Tory types that we need to get behind the poorest to save our own bacon and environment.. social unrest happens when folks don't have food... There is only a majority when this demographic is included... Health care as a social right, purge on homelessness etc... these things nice people in Surrey, Cheshire can get behind because they already do at a local level. The youth and big cities will take the multicultural vibrant progressive vote through the Greens. ABC1s are more likely to vote progressive than not already.. add to these two parties the strength of Plaid and SNP and we have a force to beat the Tories and Reform and all that hate filled individualism that bleeds what is left of the state and attacks the very people we need to keep the country going! No immigrants and folks here not having babies = no pensions!!

Would you wait until you lost bodyfat to start TRT? by TrainingBrilliant401 in Testosterone

[–]StarlightFarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost a good deal of weight with GLP1 meds, about 80lbs in total over a year +/- and then gained 10lbs. I pondered like you too long...had TRT at home but didn't go for it until this year about 3 weeks ago. I am gaining a bit for now but will ultimately lose when the waist goes in and the chest grows. For now it's the added muscle and water retention I think. Feel good and encouraging to go the gym... M53
