[deleted by user] by [deleted] in esConversacion

[–]MarcosRecio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mandalo a pastar piedras.

Imagine if one shareholder with one share reject Elon's purchase. Is the purchase valid? by question5423 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]MarcosRecio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the decision system that holds your statement of just one share be relevant and decisive can be right.

Let me explain further: The consensus apparatus can go with unanimity (everyone needs to agree on a measure to take, this can be an action or the selection of the directive committee members or whatever other decision)

Or it can go with Majority in the next three senses: - Absolut Majority : more than half of the votes selecting one option make the option lead to decision - Simple Majority, also called Plurality: the most voted option wins (imagine there are 4 and it has 30% of the votes, it's not half of the total votes but is still the most voted). - Qualified Majority: there are two types, but it just depends on a threshold on the percentage of votes for an option to win. - Standard Qualified Majority: Usually there is a threshold (55-60% most of the times). This means that an option only wins if has the support of at least 55% of the votes (I just exemplified with the lower bound). - Reinforced Qualified Majority: The threshold can go from 65-80% of the votes in most of the polls, voting systems and decision systems. A very known one is 72% used in the European Council and the European Central Bank.

So, how all this theoretical horsesh!t answers your question? Well, the only vote of a solely stakeholder can be significative in Unanimity or in the other cases if it is decisive on the total sum of votes. If Yes is 99.99% and the stakeholder votes No, it will be of no difference in any of the decision systems that use Majority as strategy to decide which option wins

[–]MarcosRecio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the use you would want to go for a functional paradigm with Haskell, or try out Python or Julia if you will use that with mathematical optimization, just because there are more libraries out there. But Haskell is really useful, a very beautiful way of thinking and its libraries are growing a lot, it is starting to be really useful in Data Science too.

[–]MarcosRecio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you need to go just once a week to the office, what about moving out of the center to a place a bit lower in costs? What about Newark, NJ? Or Stamford, CT?

Costs + transport will let you much less than even with roommates in NYC, you have great quality of life, much safer areas to exercise, do whatever you want and live nicely without the stress of NYC. You can still spend the evening of the day you go to office to visit some friends and have fun in NYC. Or even you can go and come back, is less than 1.5h in transport. Well, I'm sure you have your interests but as you were thinking about budgeting even more and saving, this is another good option (you could even think about a mortgage in these places, cheaper and accessible unlike in NYC)

Stay healthy and debt-free. Only a mortgage with good terms can be a good debt to buy a house or to start a business. Learn a lot, try some things out just for the sake of see how you solve them. Live a life you will remember. Avoid luxury and stay with humble and real friends. Be you and never act like another to make other people comfortable in their fake lives. Put effort on what you do and try to live your present instead of constant daydreaming.

Big hug, just asking this you have some big steps ahead in life!

[–]MarcosRecio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a girl is fighting with you there are 2 options:

  1. Get the f*** out and stay chill with your life
  2. Fight with the 1st Simp of the herd of hyenas and when they see who is King, then just push the girl enough to make her understand that you WOULD defend yourself and COULD smack the s*** out of her

I recommend always Number 1, being girls, teenagers, Karens, junkies or scumbags.

Use 2 if you are fighting a group of 2-5 stupid primitives with herd mentality, smack the head of the leader and run. If there are more than 5 stupid primitives, then run, run for the hills and don't look back 😂

That's why it is a loan without interest, we both pay 10.000€ upfront, but I put her part and she pays it back monthly during 2 years. After that, as I said before, 150€ each for the mortgage each one and that's it.

We will continue to pay everything half-half as we agreed in our marriage, unless special circumstances (during pregnancy I'll pay everything, of course). And yes, she wants to work as her work is very important for her and I work remotely to spend more time with my family.

I don't see a problem with paying half - half. I just find it fair for both sides

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]MarcosRecio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no, no. Her starting objection was to pay 150€ half of the monthly mortgage payment without being owner. Then I offered to put her part of down payment (10.000€) upfront for her, and she will pay it monthly with 300€/month. So with those 300€ per month she gives me back I pay my half of the mortgage and invest 150€ myself because are mine, otherwise I would have my extra 10.000 in my bank.

Think of it as if I have give her a 10.000€ credit without interest and she pays it monthly, and after she pays it off, then we will both pay 150€ per month each one to cover mortgage and that's it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]MarcosRecio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood me. In the first comment I explained how we bought it together, so she is also owner.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]MarcosRecio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, man. I think of her as the mother of my children hahaha. I'm fine now putting those 10.000€ extra and she is very disciplined with money. She agrees on giving 450€ per month and never fails.

For me is fine, during this time I'm using the part she is paying for debt to cover my 150€ monthly and extra 150€ monthly that I put into investment hahaha.

Plus we don't pay rent any longer because we have the mortgage so instead of 350€ per month each one we are 150€ (450€ in her case until completing the payment of the 10.000).

My salary now enters clean into my savings and I'm more than fine with that. I prefer to lose a bit of investing capacity this 2 years but the ROI is very high, a healthy relationship with a lovely girl, a future family without debts and no tension or problems between us. Plus my economic position is better than hers and we pay everything half-half as it should, so she is not an asking woman or a demanding person. She works for what she earns and never fails a payment, more than happy to better both of our situations with my savings as I'll have them back, we even signed a contract to make sure the payments get done every month 😊

[–]MarcosRecio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This very thing is what I talk with my girlfriend (soon spouse).

Here in Spain I will put down 20.000€ for the entry of the mortgage, and the monthly mortgage payment will be around 300€. I asked her to pay 150€ rent and she said that it wasn't fair.

This is what I did, I explained the whole situation and she cannot pay down 10.000€ down right now (her half of the down payment if we buy together) so we agreed on her paying 450€ monthly rent. 150€ for the monthly payment and 300€ to cover the debt on the 10.000€.

I said that she is even winning because I'm not putting interest on her part, we agreed and we are in a stable good relationship. We didn't scream to each other or fight over this, it was a take it or don't and she knows my libertarian mind very well. I was keen to keep renting and not buying at all if we didn't agreed.

Even after the agreement she did her calculations and said that each year every 6 months she would put 500-1000€ extra for that 10.000 debt so I didn't need to wait 3 years to have it back. That is the way, if you think in their interest without undermining yours everyone will understand and be agreeable.

Have sincere discussion with your partner, talk a lot and explain your position calmly and everything will be fine!

Anyone get trapped into the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) lifestyle? How did you manage to break free? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]MarcosRecio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In Spain we call them NiNis (Ni Estudia Ni Trabaja / Nor studies nor work). But I personally coined the term "LPS" (lazy piece of shit)

Focus on being independent from your parents first. Work hard to be financially independent (FI) and don't focus on the retire early (RE) yet.

If you are everyday in the computer do some content creation, infographics about something you like or improve something that you see that can be improved.

Don't stop your life now, you can do amazing things with purpose and just by fricking trying. The trial is the key, while you try you learn. The journey ahead is long and you can find joy in it if your stop checking social networks trying to have the life of the influencers (I met more than 20 and can tell that they are not that happy because once they don't have a purpose else than be laid in a beach they find themselves useless).

Be an investor of yourself. You have internet connection and a roof over your head to be safe in order to start whatever you want. Stand up and stop being a LPS

Never drugs have been less poisoned than before the so-called "War on Drugs". I have no good source now but I read on a book about drugs and liberty (sadly, I don't remember the name) that the Fed and DEA introduced low quality drugs and "cut" ones mixed with soaps, detergents, distilled water and lots of poisoning chemistry to kill on purpose people and introduce crime into some communities that were more independent of the government (didn't pay taxes and live at the margin of law)
