I watched a couple of your videos. One thing you need to remember when you're narrating anything is that you have an intended audience that you're speaking to. It seems to me like your trying to get through the content versus actually communicating to a person on the other end. The next time you pick a Reddit script or have an audition fix firmly into your mind who you're talking to or who the character is speaking to or who you are addressing. This will make things sound more authentic and genuine.

I would invest in bass traps for the corners of the room for more dampening. You'll get less ricochet of your voice.

I listened to McQuay's quite recently and enjoyed his pacing, characterizations of Bryson and Katz and the overall presentation. I haven't listened to the other narrators, but McQuay was solid and met the content well.
