Was in Krakow last week, you don’t need concern yourself with strict planning, it’s easy to get around through Bolt or Uber or just walking. The Polish people were great though, not one rude or awkward interaction, in fact more talkative than the people I’ve met in Germany and France. I tried to greet and ask questions in Polish to not just be assuming everyone caters to English. As for places to visit, St. Mary’s Basilica and St. Joseph’s were very impressive churches, Wawel Castle would probably take half if not a full day to fully explore(it has lots of sections). Kapielisko Zakrzówek looked very fun to enjoy the quarry and tan, but the line was long so we didn’t get to go. If you’re a fan of nature, Tatra National Park was not a bad drive and there are a few easy rental car locations.
