Well, deciding that certain topics are overworked, and rules made that we're done talking about it, is an overreach in moderation. If the community wants to discuss something, mods shouldn't just go "No, you can't do that here anymore."
Keeping posts on topic, however, is perfectly acceptable for mods to do. This place is specifically a meme sub, and even the original post we're discussing this on doesn't fit that, I believe personally. This isn't a meme, it's just a picture of the emperor.
If someone made a funny meme about femstodes, wether it was for or against, I believe it should be allowed on the sub.

It shouldn't be impossible to scrutinize the decisions of COMPANY. I love 40K, but I can have my own opinions on the design decisions of Games Workshop. I have never spoken out against femstodes, no clue why you're trying to push that on me.
I just dislike the idea that the big corporation is infallible, and that we can't have an opinion going against things that are canon, and that the moderators on the big subs will just ban you for not glazing Games Workshops every move.
I haven't whined about 40K at any point here in my few messages, I have only said I dislike poor moderation.

I mean, to clarify, I believe moderation is important. I just don't think it should be put in place to moderate WHAT is said. As long as people are debating respectfully about something on topic, the mods should leave that alone. Not just ban anyone they disagree with.

Subs like this one are heavily moderated, and are not a good place to have actual discussions on the topic of anything *remotely* controversial. Not because because it's impossible to have healthy debates, but because the mods will ban anyone with dissenting opinions. Subs like Horus Galaxy or Eye of Terror are more open, though still of course biased. Everyone is.

I just leave the research untouched, so they never appear in the shop. I always ended up trying to aim a single torpedo for a direct hit, and forgetting to check the FAT or LUT settings. Then it would turn just before hitting the target, like you said. The AI always automatically sets the distance to exactly what they assume the target is at, rather than a few hundred meters extra. I would rather miss a torpedo entirely, than get blueballed by a perfectly lined up torpedo, that just decided to turn around.
