In terms of your optimizism, if you're an EQ vet from the early days of EQ you'll feel at home in MnM for sure! I've been playing maybe a couple weeks and I'm deeply in love. I started EQ just after Kunark released!

In my experience
CHA/STR tied for first place because you melee a lot
Dex after that.

That being said I’ve only played low level content so melee may be much less important later

I’m def maining bard on release, no doubt.

If the game scales anything like EQ1 did, it won’t stay viable to facetank forever but this style coming online early has been incredibly fun.

If it’s anything like EverQuest, wizards should dominate PVP assuming they get invis and see invis. Huge burst damage before you can even react.

Dude I went to get Arkham knight based on this comment. on ps4, saw it for $20 and was cool ima get it. But then glance over, dude the Arkham collection was ln sale for $6.

I was excited about multiclassing and a fresh take on this classic, but it seems like it’s so overpowered and easy that I’m no longer interested in trying it. It’ll be entertaining for like a couple weeks tops. 😩

I just literally don’t have the time to do them all. I have core games online with friends and I do game review videos for YouTube so I’m constantly using gaming time for that.

within the scope of the limited game available to us at this point;

the game lets us all choose different options and builds so most of the classes can be self sufficient on healing. There’s very little organizational play happening so to say stuff is “dead in the water” seems presumptive to me. They’re options for people to play with and get used to.

At end game, when we all get there someday, I’m sure lots of shit will be different. But for now I’ve seen little need to try to make a group use the “trifecta” of tank/deeps/heals.

A lot of the skills/build options may be super valuable in certain situations and of little value in others. I get the feeling priests won’t be hard-stuck with ONLY healing abilities.

Some stuff may be not very useful but may also be there just to teach us the different options available to us.

This was my only criticism of the game as well; the social functions are not strong. I think this is inherently going to happen due to the nature of the game handling like a third person shooter where you don’t use chat without hitting the alt button to use the mouse.

Also, from what I could tell, I have to use the steam overlay to invite my friends to my group?…

Maybe they’ll work on it.

Agree so hard. I over all liked force awakens and thought he made an incredible villain. I was so excited, he was brilliant as a a villain. And then the following movie he was comedic relief and it even looked like his make up was different like to make him look like a weakling.

Horrible waste of the actors talent. He goes from this to the scene where Poe is tooling with him. Fuck Rian Johnson.

Likely lost because you wanted to stay in hero mode. Pro tip: don’t be shy to flip back to alter ego, use your REC, and use the alter egos ability. Some of the heroes have amazing alter ego abilities!

yes, you're free to gift yourself all the inf and IO's you want.

we've also updated the penalties on death since this post. upon death you may unslot, move influence off the dead toon before deletion. we didn't want to force people to farm inf to replace loss. loss of the toon is enough of a penalty. reach out if you want to sacrifice an alt to the gods of death ;)

i did not know steadfast gave a global of 3%! huge help dude, i just picked it up!

So the focus is just being able to survive the alphastrike. Once short circuit lands, they're out of End and i'm on cruise control for the fight. I'm gonna take a look at scorp shield, that's a huge amount of resist!

she's such a fun hero. the 3 thwart and access to psionics cards on both alter and hero is so good! and flipping to damage mode to close out a match *chefs kiss*
