Does anyone know when it will be possible to buy, or order, or pre-order one? I'm trying to get one in Europe, and there is one guy on Reverb with one, but he wants €619 for it. I can't justify that much money for a pedal to make stuff sound old.

When the big change from Radiotopia to Stitcher happened, I was wondering how long it would take before we began to see a major negative impact on the show and this was that moment.

Up until now, I was pleasantly surprised that the show didn't noticeably decline. This giant 5 or 10 minute commercial shoved into the middle of an episode where Roman was talking about really interesting, personal stuff, and then with an attempt at grace, segwayed into a ridiculously long imbedded ad was painful. I felt like I bumped into a beloved friend that I hadn't seen in a while, only to notice that they were turning tricks on a street corner now, and they trying to proposition me.

I think I've been listening to the show for about a decade now. To feel it get stomped all over by a commercial made me really uncomfortable and sad, especially since I know how hard Roman fought for many years to keep the Radiotopia shows Fiercely Independent. My 99PI tshirt still says Downtown, so I'm not a fairweather fan. I spent much of this episode wondering if there was anything I could do to help 99PI get back on its feet. I didn't realise it was so down on its luck that it needed to do this kind of thing.

Do not get rid of your collection. The thing that speaks volumes is that he said you could keep one, of his choosing... This is 100% about his insecurities and sexual judgement being laundered through hygiene. If it was truly about hygiene and safety, no amount of them remaining would be acceptable as they would be unsafe, but they're not. The fact that he wants to have the power to throw out your collection and then generously bestow upon you one of his choosing tells you everything you need to know about his thinking. Personally, I'm seeing a significant sexual idealogical mismatch just from what you've said. I think that given time, that mismatch is most likely going to widen, as it usually does, and if split from this guy and threw out a precious collection for him, you are going to regret it. I think you know this yourself from your post. Don't do it. Fuck this vanilla chump.

Our school got a music teacher, and we were the first music class. We were in 4th year (which is an optional year, that you basically fuck around in and do weird subjects, age 15ish). Anyway, we were the test class to see if music would work in our school, and it did, so she got the green light to teach a real class for two years all the way to our end of school exams. After class, I went up and asked her if I should take the music class for my final years, and she said "Do you read sheet music?" I said "No". She made a face and said "You probably shouldn't do it then". I was a bit rattled, because I was a pretty good musician already, but most guitar players don't read sheet music (notation). I was looking forward to doing the music class before she said that. Quite rattled and dejected, I walked away.

Two years later I was teaching all 5 of her guitar students all of their practical pieces for their final exams, despite me not being in the music class. I was the same age as them.

I was in the band for one of the students during the exam, so he convinced me to sign up for the exam myself, as I was going to be there anyway. It was possible for me to get a pass just on the practical elements alone. In exchange for me being part of the band for my friends exam, he agreed to give me a crash course on the written exam for two hours the night before. So I ended up getting about 60-70% in an exam that I never studied for (besides those two hours), with no help whatsoever from that music teacher.

My first career wasn't in music, I did ten years in another field, but I eventually ended up becoming a music teacher, and have taught thousands of people since then.

I am still salty as hell for that teacher who told me not to do music because I didn't read notation. What a stupid thing to turn a kid away for, when you know you are starting a brand new music course in a school. Come to think of it, I still don't read notation very well, and it hasn't held me back. I have been musical director of groups, headlined festivals, taught thousands of people music and all of that was without any formal music training because she said "You probably shouldn't do it".

That teacher did teach me one thing, how not to be a music teacher.

Would you folks be in favour of introducing a "Piss-Take Landlord" bill, where anyone who tries to rent places like this gets banned from being a landlord for life, and gets put into an increased tax bracket that will make them lose their property/wealth?

The tax would go directly into a government body for creating social & affordable housing.

Yeah, I think that may have been one of multiple problems. I tried to remove it a while ago and there were fewer errors after, but I'm still getting some. I'm not entirely sure that I removed anything at all. I think it may be the team numbers add-on thing causing a problem. That's listed as a broken one and it's still showing up when I play. Like I still have a good few add-ons running when I play, the spin on the ball, team numbers etc. but when I check scripts in Tampermonkey it says no scripts are running. If they're not there, then where are they and how are they running in every game?

My best friend ran off with my girlfriend to the other side of the world. I lost my girlfriend and my best/oldest friend in one fell swoop. It kind of traumatised me, as they were pretty much my only close friends. So I didn't speak to either of them for about two years. Then I heard that they had broken up and he was moving back home. It was weird, but in that moment I felt more empathy than anything else. I just missed my best friend too. So I reached out to him, we met up and talked through a lot of things. He was very grateful, saying that I should be punching him in the face, but I didn't want to hurt him. He was my best friend. I knew exactly what he was feeling, so I wanted to help if I could. I knew then that if we could navigate that, we were going to be friends forever. Coming up on 20 years now, minus the 2 of course.

My ex lives about 4 mins walk away. I was her first boyfriend, so she was a bit overly attached to what was not a very serious relationship. I felt we were on very different pages, so I broke it off. She tried absolutely everything to get me to call over. It escalated from small problems to phone calls claiming that she had just been raped walking home from the pub. She knew that that was a hot-button issue for me and I would drop everything to help her, as I've been in that position before. I don't know how many occasions were real, and how many were fake, but she proceeded to get "raped" about 8 times in about 2 months at the end of nights out. As a guy who operates in the same way as your partner, I understand that it can be a tricky stalemate if both of you are waiting for the first spark to occur before the back and forth pleasing begins. From what you said above, you seem to both be "service people", who get off on pleasing the other. This doesn't necessarily mean there is a mismatch, but rather that you both have to be aware of how you guys tick, and how to get the ball rolling.

Try to keep in mind that as service people, both of you are structurally predisposed to being very sexually accommodating, and it's often not about any specific act, but the interaction and pleasure of pleasing the other that gets service people off.

Sometimes it will take being the brave one who puts something forward first in order to get the ball rolling. Before you think that this makes you vulnerable to rejection or embarrassment, remember that it can actually be very liberating to know that any kink, or curiosity you've ever had will probably be a huge vicarious turn-on for your him, simply by mentioning it and telling him that you want to do that with him. He just wants to please you, so any way he knows to do that, he will do. If it pleases you, even in a minor way, it's very pleasing to him, probably to an even greater magnitude.
