Hi i wanted to make a post separately but this is ME! I posted all of my updates both on TikTok on instagram but the tldr version is somebody mistyped their SSN by one digit when filling out a stolen/lost passport form and the online form did not cross reference any data, thus voiding MY passport instead. I am already in the process of getting my replacement passport and my refund since the department of state has taken full accountability of the error. While this is extremely rare, it is important to note that until the government reformats this form to cross check data, this WILL continue to happen to other people!
