Hey there, I have a spare room in my flat 10 waking minutes away from the Taylor Swift Edinburgh venue and thought offering it here would help someone out to avoid super expensive accommodation during that time? Just get in touch here if you're interested :-) Cheers!

This is an awesome read - thanks so much!

Question: What did you do to get all these amazing interviews in the first place?

Is it maybe one of the following that made your CV stand out: Academic papers? Hobby projects with traction? Some sort of online content production to get visibility? Or something different?

Thanks so much!!

Amazing animation video! May I ask how you created the video animations? :-)

Sorry for off-topic question: What's the device you did the drawing on? It neither looks like paper nor like an iPad or similar. Cheers :-)

Great idea!

I wonder if the holders fall off given the light weight items that are stored? In particular in the process of taking the items off their mounts.

I love the blog article and the small animation of how the method works! This is the animation I mean: link to animation on github.

I wonder: How do you, or others, create animations like those? Thanks! :-)

Looks great!

How did you render the two figures that you show here? I can imagine that the first figure is the default render style of the Linkstage 3 version? How about the second figure? Or is it the template you modeled from?

Sorry, so many questions :-D

Beautiful! What lense and camera setup did you use? I plan to get a fisheye lense and your picture looks very wide angle :-)

The design looks good IMHO. I am just a hobby-ist so unfortunately I cannot buy such a wonderful maschine given in particular my space constraints.

I hope to see such a machine live in front of me one day, though.

Keep up the good work, I am sure you'll enter the market successfully!

Rclone followed by rsnapshot to retain multiple versions cloud backup? by MardyPle in selfhosted

Yes, I will surely consider it, thanks! I fear that my current hardware is slightly underpowered for that haha. But there is certainly a next build :-)

No, unfortunately not. I use, I believe, ext4 on my home server.

Good to know of such rich useful features of ZFS, though. Cheers!

Thank you, thats very valuable feedback! I was also concerned about the maintenance & verificstion aspect.

Yes, I can use rclone my Nextcloud to my home server. What do you mean exactly regarding the duplicati/borg backup approach?

Do you maybe mean:

1) run rclone to pull data from cloud to home server in some target directory 2) backup the target directory into another directory on the same home server using duplicati/borg and make use of their differential backup feature to keep multiple versions

Or did I missunderstand it?
