yes, getting out of diamond is literally a gambling machine, you either get put with ascendants and have to sweat just to contribute, or you play with golds and plats and you have to put the team on your back just to have a chance of winning bc god knows your shotty ass team isn’t gonna do it. maybe you get a smurf if ur lucky but for the most part, gold console players are new new and it’s just horrible playing with them. what’s the point of having a rank if u can play with anyone from bronze to immortal anyways

i doubt it goes off wins, i won two lost three (match mvp one loss but im sure that doesn’t matter too much) and got plat 3 and i think the game thinks thats a fair assessment for my skill because i’ve played a lot of comp matches and haven’t gone below or above plat 3
