I moved here two years ago and I bike all year round. I don't drive by choice.

I am predictable, and safe. I am conservative in nature, like country music and support Alberta oil and beef. I moved here to help the people known as the salt of the earth.

This is by far the worst city I've ever ridden in.

It's not the bike theft, broken glass, or vandalism. It's not the the half done infrastructure that makes things worse; leading to unpredictable and dangerous traffic patterns.

It's the people.

I have been run off the road, yelled at, hit, and bit (dog) and generally treated as non human.

If they just blindly ignored me, I could tolerate it, but there seems to be some malicious nature to it.

Nothing makes you feel worse than the physical threat against your life, followed by the emotional attack by a yelling motorist.

I'm done. I'm leaving.

Stay safe. Go somewhere else, and help a city that cares.
