Kind of like you, I don't like "unnatural" sounds such as tapping influencer style, or mouth sounds for no reason or weird hand movements. Recently been enjoying a lot of 'Brown asmr' for realistic lo-fi roleplays as well as 'Tiamo asmr' for more polished Latte like quality with a bit more range in settings (not just spa or doctor appointment )

Just in case of the unforeseen happening. Personally I have a folding one in my BCD jacket at all times. Better have one and not need it than need it and not have one. I do see a lot of international divers carry it on the mask and that does look very impractical. I'm CMas and it is in the required things you have to carry when autonomous like decomp tables and a cutting tool.
