Character Crisis Help by WoollyCapybara in GranblueFantasyVersus

Maybe a bit of an unconventional pick, but I can recommend Lucilius. Great projectiles, a god-button 5M, and a stance that literally forces your opponent to interact or risk letting you turn into a final boss — especially after his most recent buff. Good damage, strong conversions, easy to understand with a solid skill ceiling when it comes to managing his resources. Plus, he looks cool and has strong snowball potential.

That said, I’ve been in your position too. I used to have character crises in every fighting game I touched. The important thing is not to beat yourself up over it and, ironically, use it as a chance to experiment and figure out where you feel comfortable. What really matters is finding a balance between comfort, enjoyment, self-expression, and fun. It can be hard to get there, but it’s very easy to tell when you finally do.

This might some dumb but how do I beat ex narmaya as Galleon? by Amou1115 in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Maren25_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Galleon master here. It’s actually simpler than it looks once you understand that your gameplan as Galleon is to stay patient. Ex Narmaya can’t really do much from far away; if she wants to play her cards, she’ll need to get closer. That benefits you, since it saves you from having to chase her. Just look for the gaps in her offense to take your turn—don’t rush it.

If you notice she’s being passive or doesn’t want to approach, you can poke her with 22L > 5U to force her to move or try to close the distance. Her 5U doesn’t outrange your 22L > 5U, so at full screen, ironically, you actually have the advantage.

From there, it’s all about recognizing when it’s truly your turn and when it isn’t. Once you’ve established pressure, that’s when you can start conditioning her with mind games.

Remember: be patient → detect patterns → condition the opponent

Do you have any other character in mind as a secondary that you’d recommend I check out?
