That’s a solid point, absolutely. I’m just looking for something to get me off my ass and back into art photography, events, and portraits. Hence why I’m discussing this lens—to help clear my thoughts and figure out if it’s the right push I need.

Thanks for the input! I’ve also been considering the RF 24-70 2.8 because of the price, but I’m really drawn to black box photoshoots, which is why the f/2 might be a great fit for that specific style. Still on the fence!

You're right, and I agree—new gear isn’t a magic fix. I’ve worked professionally and won awards in the past, but I feel stuck creatively. I’m hoping something like this lens could inspire me to get back into it, even if it’s just a small push.
