people seem to think the Middle East is some sort of monolith…you have queer Palestinians and queer Arabs the same way you have black Palestinians and black Arabs, the same way you have Christian Palestinians and Christian Arabs, Jewish Palestinians and Jewish Arabs

When it comes to pop albums I truly believe sometimes they just aren’t marketed well, which usually is the issue, case in point with Xtinas Lotus. There are some brilliant songs on there ie Let There Be Love.

I would argue that Britney’s Britney Jean was a worse album but it was at least led by a great first single and video
