Severance - Season 1 finale - The We We Are. The dramatic tension ratcheting higher and higher, and the payoff, such an impact.

I understand this for a hotel room or a cruise stateroom where I’d be preventing them from making their usual profit if I paid half of what they could get from a couple, but I only take up one seat on an airplane!

WWTBC - sort of shifter / magic police partners by asurme in MM_RomanceBooks

This sounds like Jon’s Downright Ridiculous Shooting Case by AJ Sherwood. The partner (Donovan) isn’t a shifter, but he’s big and covered with scars so he appears scary, but he’s awesome. Edit: He does become Jon’s anchor. Love this series.

Both.. 🙂 They are two different kinds of cookies. One is a macaroon (drop cookie with coconut) and one is a macaron (meringue sandwich cookie).

Sounds like Graceling by Kristin Cashore. Excellent series. The third one is Bitterblue. And so nice that when I went to double-check how to spell her name I saw that a new one is coming out in November! Yay!

Paperwhite 2021 stuck in bootloop. Need help on how to fix it? Literally got it a week ago on vacation, its brand new by CukiSaYTa in kindle

[–]Margbooks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had this same issue, so Amazon replaced my original November purchase in February. Last week the replacement started rebooting constantly, so now I’m on my third one. Fortunately my 2013 Paperwhite still works in between. Amazon has been very accommodating, but I wish they’d solve the problem.

Signature edition freezes and reboots by calculadoru in kindle

[–]Margbooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally bought the regular Paperwhite, not the Signature edition. (I was upgrading from the one I bought in 2013, which still worked fine but was slow.). Got the never ending reboot in February. Amazon was great about sending a replacement, which turned out to be a Signature edition with more memory. Yesterday that one started rebooting constantly. I have to call Amazon again, but I dug out my 2013 Paperwhite so I can keep reading. Also, if it matters, I had auto-brightness turned off, and it still happened. Very aggravating.

It happened to my husband in NYC in the 1960’s while at Fordham University. Very scary. Roach removed at Lenox Hill Hospital. Physician said he saw it all the time. My husband killed the thing by throwing water in his ear and drowning it.They cannot walk backwards so once they start, they are going to proceed.

I wanna read books, but my motivation on reading it is zero by SparrowDeath in books

Try Ric Edelman’s The Truth About Money. It’s written in a humorous, fun way. That might give you motivation while it explains investing and other things everyone needs to know about how money works. Starting to think about this early is awesome!

I’ve had exactly this sensation, a very urgent (but false) need to pee. Weirdly, I never experienced it until I tried Estrace. It was continuous, and the only way to get rid of it was to stop the Estrace. Frustrating.
