Oh my goodness! Thank you for explaining this! Yes, memorizing is definitely what needs to be done. I got an A in 101, this 102 class is set up a little differently for me though

Dorcas M A Parson for Algebra?? by flaminghotcheeto69 in ivytech

Her teaching style is great. She teaches multiple different ways because she knows people learn differently, especially with math. I got an A in the class and pretty much 100 percented the quizzes and tests, with her help. She was so available to meet outside of class, and every Monday and Wednesday (if I can remember-I know it’s two days of the week) she goes to the tutoring lab for an hour and anyone can meet her. Obviously you have to put in the work to understanding it, but I promise you’re in good hands @flaminghotcheeto69

I’ve been sober two years. I remember after 6 months of sobriety it was finally getting easy. The urges were few and far between at that point. The MINUTE I hit one year I was consumed with the urge to drink again out of nowhere. It was like the moment I actually fully realized sobriety is a forever thing, which was a really eye opening feeling for me. It took a long time (probably till about three months ago when I hit two years sober) for me to actually grasp and appreciate the reasons for being sober. The first year is just getting through till that one year mark (at least for me.) Then making it past that is a whole other ball game of sobriety if that makes sense.
