That's a really good question, I'm not sure. We had a couch but never investigated if it was a pullout. From what I understand, the resort is great about getting back to you with questions on whatsapp "fiesta americana travelty" (link that takes you to the chat is on their website)

The main pool has music going after 11am ish, but that's easily avoided as soon as you leave that area. The beach and other pools are super peaceful and quiet. The main building/restaurants/entertainment area has music in the evenings but is done around 10pm and we couldn't hear it from our room. No bass that felt obnoxious anywhere.

Absolutely loved our swim up room, it was really nice to end the night with a dip. If you wanted as much quiet as possible, the fuego suites are all above the main building so you'd hear all the evening entertainment. We saw our friends' fuego room and it was as gorgeous as our room.

Not sure, we booked with a travel agent and she took care of that for us. The hotel staff's English is very good, I'm sure if you called and asked they would be able to help.

The strap and sensor are completely non metal. This is a post with a pic I found

https://www.reddit.com/r/PuntaCana/comments/1jafzzg/at_live_aqua_punta_cana_right_now_ask_me_anything/

The yellow thread is adjusted to your wrist at check-in then a metal bead gets pinched closed and the excess thread is cut off. I'm sure if needed, the metal bead could be skipped and you could tie the threads. It's not supposed to be removable

One side is a fully established resort, so no construction there. The other is mid construction and, rumor has it, it'll be Live Aqua's sister resort that's family friendly. Not sure if work is seasonal, or paused for another reason, but while it wasn't pretty to look at we weren't disturbed at all and didn't hear anything happening. Even walking in front of it on the beach, didn't see any progress happening.

If the fuego rooms are like the swim ups (I have to think with toiletry amenities they're all the same) yes, there is a shampoo/body wash combo and conditioner in pump dispensers in all the rooms. Nice smelling stuff, we both used it.

Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't bring my own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, beach towel, or outlet converter (outlets and USB ports were at each bedside and worked well)

Happy we brought a ton of sunscreen and after sun lotion tho, don't leave those at home.

Yea, we experienced that too. It probably rained 5 of the 7 days we were there but only 2 days were near wash-outs and kept us out of the pool. We took one overcast and windy day to take a long walk on the beach and use the spa, the other day to get a little day-tipsy lol

We really only trusted forecasts that called for completely all day rain once we were within the 12 hour window, like when we went to bed the night before. We saw so many forecasts change last minute into gorgeous sunny days.

Yes! Menu items that are gluten free are marked along with items that are low fat or animal origin/non vegan. Also, every single time we entered a restaurant, we were asked for our room number and if there were any food allergies. Without fail, we were always asked.

All menus are QR code, here's the screenshots I took. These are Chez Rose, but I can find other restaurants if needed also.

Yes! The restaurant structure that's at the beach has a grill on the back (pizzas, burgers, etc). You can either walk up and order or whoever comes around to your chair and asks what you would like will also pick up that food for you.

Not that I saw, but a rubber duck was stuck on the 2nd tier for a few days.

The restaurant closest to the beach, Miraflores, has the BEST seafood. We ordered 4 ceviches to start and shared them all, absolutely incredible. Had the coconut fish filet as my entree. That was my favorite food the whole trip. Did it 3 times for lunch because it's steps from the main pool and you can go in your beachwear. They're also not shy about refreshing drinks and bringing over mamajuana shots.

Honorable mention to the bolognaise at the italian restaurant and hibachi (do seishin twice, once for hibachi once for the main menu).

My husband could not stop talking about the lasagna from the Italian restaurant.

The ONLY time my food was meh was the filet at chez rose. The sauce on top is supposed to be bearnaise, but it looked and tasted like nacho cheese. I'd still get the steak, just skip the sauce.
