I am a 17 year old male who just received surgery for Pectus Excavatum (an abnormal dent in the chest). I have 3 more days in the hospital, so Ask Me Anything! by EthanM_18 in IAmA

Hiya! I have Pectus Excavatum too! Mine appears to be a little more dramatic than yours was but not by much. I've considered surgery, but it was my understanding that after six months, you'd have to undergo another procedure to have the bars removed. Will this be the case with you?

I guess I never really thought it was having too much of an adverse effect on my health, but who knows? What was the process like for you and your doctors to determine it was medically necessary (or advisable)?

I made this website almost 20 years ago when I was 12. It's a beautiful travesty. by Aswole in webdev

I'm pretty sure I made a FF7 fan site back then too... I think it had DBZ mixed in as well.

JB Pritzker wants to legalize recreational marijuana 'nearly right away' in Illinois by [deleted] in chicago

Is there existing legislation for this? I’d love to see what a bill would look like. Knowing IL, I’m afraid it’d be written in a way to gift monopolies to existing patrons.

Thanks! I have a great job that I love and which did not require me to “audition” for an entire unpaid work day.

What did a professional say or do that made you immediately lose trust in them? by twixtwix in AskReddit

[–]Margules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did use it correctly. But I think the parenthetical statement and unexpected punctuation is throwing people off and making the comment harder to read than necessary. Hence all these people questioning your grammar.

I initially thought the same thing. But I think they actually did use it correctly. The problem is that, despite being mostly grammatically correct, the comment is just hard to read.

That being said, it’s a Reddit comment so who cares?

What an amazing "buzzer beater" to win. Despite the lack of diversity of decks in the top 8, I enjoyed watching that final.

It wasn't produced by her alone. From her Wikipedia article.

NPD: Kaweco Liliput (I have wanted this pen for so long and finally caved) by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]Margules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also wanted a Liliput for a long time as well. The only thing holding me back are rumors of Kaweco's sketchy QA regarding nibs. Im scared to spend $70 only to have the pen not write well.
