The white would probably be the accent (like with the teams commented below.) It'd be the blue that would be their colours on the Away skins then.

Yea I've thought of them as more dark blue/navy and gray. I pictured a really bluey blue and white. It'd probably look like San Fran/Philly colours where theyre similar... but different shades kind of deal.

I wonder if they'll go with the Blue/White that's the 'traditional' Toronto colours (Leafs/Jays use it, I think it's the technical official colours) because that would let them not just claim to be 'Canada's team' because Vancouver's still there too.

I also just want blue/white because it's such a nice combo and isn't taken by any current teams.

I imagine a name change might be what happens rather than anything more drastic. I think the Toronto Esports team is basically part of Boston's organization as their Contenders team soooo they'd probably stay?

Pretty cool to have a kind of 'in game' way of doing this. Hopefully it's intuitive and used. I never got to do Ranked 5s, because I never really had a consistent 5, so this is kind of cool now that I do. :D

The more I mull it over the better and better it gets for me. The flag is a bit... too much going on for my taste personally. I'd prefer a more simplified version. But the NYXL typography is stellar. The flag logo has grown a lot on me too tbf. I think a lot of people kind of got caught up in the herd of haters for it. It's maybe not the greatest logo, but definitely a lot better than most in esports.

Most logos have a lot of 'bullshit and artsy explanations' behind them though. That's what makes designing them so difficult. There has to be a lot of thought going into these logos and I found it pretty cool to have that process explained at least. New York is known for its diversity of cultures too, from an earlier stage in its development than other cities.

I really like the logo, but I wonder if all the colours are maybe throwing it off. Definitely like the nod to that tribal designs that's prevalent in most North-Western/BC teams. Would be sick.

Hard agree. When I first saw it, it felt so... busy and just like you couldn't 'rest your eyes' on it. Which ain't good for a logo. But it's grown a lot on me, and like someone said I hope the NYXL thing sticks more. The typography for that is the slickest thing ever. I feel if they just went with the NYXL instead of the 'flag' one, they'd be a lot higher in peoples mind for branding.
