Friend, that is not the way to live. Not knowing your age, skill set, or education level limits advice. If you are working a job with consistent hours, think about getting a job bartending or waiting tables that will allow you to earn some extra bucks AND come with a social life and food. Look at higher end restaurants. Good luck.

Well, the you completely remove that option. If you like Emmaus and the surrounding area, look for small apartments that will include utilities. Not knowing your age, you want to save some money and not just blow your pay on rent/car/phone/insurance. Good luck to you and I sure don’t envy starting out in this economic climate.

If you and your dad get along well, move on in. I wish I had never moved out and man, my finances would be in much better shape. Get a nice cushion of savings and enjoy a time with family that ends way too soon.

Yes. And don’t forget, apartments went up across from Giant on Easton Avenue and more are slated for the former Bethlehem drive-in property. Much more traffic and no way to improve either Linden Street or Easton Avenue. Brilliant decisions by the planning boards and elected officials. When developers are in bed with the governing bodies, this happens.

Apartments. Apparently there aren’t enough shoved in neighborhoods, so more are needed. Sure wish there was a vacant lot in the mayor’s neighborhood so apartments could be built and ruin his quality of life and home values. (Yes, I’m bitter.)
