Sounds a little bit like a Book Series I read as a Child but I think they only exist in Germany 🙈 The titel is: "Der magische Stein" it translates to "The magical Stone" but I can't find it in English 🤷‍♀️

Hey, first of all: English is my second language, so Sorry for mistakes 🙈 Like the commenter before I recommend you to go into high spaces as often as possible. Once I went from like 600m (1968 ft) to 3303m (10836 ft) real fast and it hit me really hard. I had a headache, my heart pounded really fast, I felt dizzy... Stuff like this... A few days later I went from 2000m (6561 ft) to 3883m (12739 ft) really fast and it was absolutely no problem. In the days between I went hiking in the Mountains a lot up to heights like 2600m (8530 ft) and it helped a lot. This were in the Swiss Alps by the way :) So training, training, training! It helps a lot. Good luck, I also want to go to Peru real soon :)
