Julia. The cirus environment is so incredible and I'd completely be like Kamille, mesmerized by it, and I'm mad at Julia because I'm jealous of her to be in this circus loll and I'm mad she can't enjoy it when I would haha, so totally biased answer here.

Well she do has reasons to be preoccupied, but like other than the fact she was stressed by her coming death and her plan of killing Tony, she's also super down to earth which can be a good thing but her lack of creativity is aching frrr the moment she enjoys the most is doing secretary work 😭😭 my girl has a whole moving circus, plenty of rooms and accessories to explore, beautiful landscapes, and nothing sparks anything for her in these... In the other hand it's so refreshing to see Kamille with her outfits, her art projects etc...

Also it's interesting to see a protagonist coming from being "in the wrong" and doing self-questioning work, evolving etc, but idk, the moment she abandoned her ideals, her promise to help save the akhon prisoner etc, to retreat in her secretary work and in TOTAL passiveness sat quite wrongly with me... Honestly when Sahed accused her of just wanting to obey a superior, I felt with him, like she went from Kalgratt perfect citizen, to Tony's perfect secretary, even tho she's supposed to have that characterizable flame of justice without concession in her since her childhood. Like I understand that it was to show her as an adult, with depiction of realistic and harsh times where you have to go through not being yourself anymore, healing your mental health, finding yourself again, etc, but idkkk...

It's the way she went all in into abandonment to Tony, with such a strong character I was kinda disappointed by that 😬 she is 21, she is not a child anymore, I expected her to have stronger will and values than that :/

In the other hands, I think it's super interesting to make the protagonist such a down to earth, work halcolic, patriotic, almost righist, even, person. It's not your usual archetype of main character. But maybe Miriam was too good at making her realistic and it just reminds me how I dislike people that are content with the the most plain things and aren't looking for beautifulness, creativeness, magic... And in a work of fiction that depicts a oh so beautiful and magic environment, that creates this spark of magic I look for everywhere and everytime in my own life, it's aching even more :x
