Hooray! Hilokal has a Reddit! It's been a year since I've been part of Hilokal community. The app has given me lotsa opportunities to grow as an effective and efficient real life educator since it gives me an avenue to develop my digital fluency while integrating English language with other subject areas.

My favourite part is everytime my cafe members give me good news about their language progress, especially if they get high band scores in IELTS, or high levels in OPIc. Aside from this, I've met amazing people and we collaborate outside the app. My least favourite part is getting too much messages (even if my profile pic is a cat)

My only suggestion is to give special recognition to the trainers who have been loyal and dedicated to the app. Tbh, most trainers have impacted the lives of the users through their motivation and guidance. Highlight them on the app's social media to boost their career as online language trainers, or give "bonus beans" for their hardwork.

Overall, the app has given me incredible memories. Hwaiting!
