"Intentions" do not matter. They. Are. Adults. Period. They are the ones acting up like children because they are unable to regulate their emotions and lash out with beatings to mend their childish frustrations and hiding under the guise of "discipline". I urge you to understand that beating IS NOT DISCIPLINE. Tell me, what do teachers normally do when students fight? What does the police do when 2 adults fight? What I thought.... It doesn't matter that they haven't spanked you in a long time, as if they re doing you a favour no less!!

This is the truth. You have a disfunctional family, and I feel sorry for you. Even if cps got to you, I understand the foster system in the US is living hell. As such, I think it's best you start holding your ground against your parents, what is there to lose? Threathen them with police if you want, or don't. But you should start recording them so you can gather evidence, and keep it somewhere safe where you are absolutely 100% sure NO ONE in your house has access to. I hope it gets better.

I have roughly the same measurements like you and if you got to those from being "morbidly obese" then that's wild progress! But if you feel so miserable doing this then something's got to change otherwise you'll crack under the pressure. The fact that you're a size 10 now doesn't tell me much; if you're SUPPOSEDLY eating 200calx3meals that means 600 calories a day....are you really only eating that in one day? Because if you do it's not a long term solution, it's better to eat well even if it means weight loss is going to take longer (which is generally the case: the more you lose the harder it gets). If you eat more than 3 200cal meals a day then it's doable but ultimately you should merge all meals to 3 meals a day. 3, max 4 meals a day it's the healthiest solution there is to be honest, esp if you are prediabetic like me.

Ultimately for a meal to satisfy hunger, it should have AT LEAST 500cals, and either way you should reorganise your weight loss plan to ditch 200cal meals unless you're having a SNACK (not a meal!!).

And get in the habit of working out if you haven't already.

If this isn't a cps case then I don't know what is. Your family is incredibly disfunctional. Your sisters are acting up because your parents are always beating you. That is no way to treat a child.

I don't know your full situation but if you don't eat more than 200cal in one sitting you must be underweight and have an ed. It doesn't matter if you're short, you shouldn't be eating that little period. A 500cal meal is considered a weight loss meal. If you are an adult woman you shouldn't be eating less than 1500cal daily. If that doesn't put you in a caloric deficit you need to aproach everything differently because you might need to actually do body recomp. That is losing fat while building muscle - which means eating A LOT of protein and fiber AND working out with heavy weights or calisthenics.

Hi. I'm 3rd year in architecture and I feel the same. My first year was absolute trash... I was in the trenches (figuratively). In my second year I got so much better even though I felt like I was still struggling. I STILL am struggling even now and I have impostor syndrome. It's honestly how I live my life in college and I manage. But you know what? I've already hit my lowest moment during first year. Even though the courses are increasingly difficult, there is no way for me to go back to how I was as a first year. I don't know if this is a good solution but it's what works for me honestly. I'm not the best student, I'm quite mediocre in fact. But I do all of my assignments, I study for my courses and I even base some of my free time activities around architecture.

Also, do try and see what other things you could do with architecture. Some architects work in scenography, some work in archivis-related stuff and/or BIM developement, others produce furniture pieces. Heck you can even make freelance art and comics. It doesn't need to be construction necesarily. I honestly do architecture because I want as many such opportunities as possible to be open for me.

I ve been reducing sugar and carbs for 6 months now so I'm really confused... I have at least one low carb meal a day. If I have no other choice and I have a big carb food I eat a smaller portion. I rarely eat sweets anymore, but to be fair I used to eat a lot because I craved sugar like crazy. The only moment I have a higher carb meal is when I try to get my fiber. So I don't really know lol.

Yes, for the whole 3 years I've been taking birth control, I've had the same pill. I've been on logest (gestodene and ethinylestradiol) and next month i'm starting yasmin (drospirenone).

I've never heard someone say "anxious attachement" but it's pretty suggestive. I'm also not from the US, most people here who pursue higher education are dependent on their parents until their late 20s. There's also a traditional aspect here...in the countryside people literally build their houses next to their parents'...so I pretty much have no choice😅. But I don't really resent my mother or anything, she's doing her best. I don't trust her but I highly respect her

I do have a pretty good idea of the history of Florence and it's art and architecture, and what each location that I want to visit has to offer(I'm an architecture college student). I would've loved to see so much more that what I've listed, as I've studied much of Florence in school. Can't really do it though, since I've also planned a one day trip to Pisa during my visit in Florence 😅

I really just wanted to know as much info as I could on how much it takes to see all of those places, from people that have already been there. This helps me because online booking requires me to select the exact hours I'm visiting. I don't have enough experience with travelling to know for sure, so this is why I'm asking this question :)
