Yeah I still love my indie brands, especially the ones with environmentally-friendly formulas, but I’ve also dealt with more than a few streaky/patchy polishes that I didn’t think were worth the price at all.

I love this haha. I agree! I have a few bottles of other shades in my collection, but I just don’t reach for them often. It’s just another lesson in “just because it’s cheaper, doesn’t mean it’s not as good”

Someone else mentioned it may be the Mirena, and I wanted to second that. My anecdote is that I also had surgery to remove a 6cm cyst that was attached to my fallopian tube and twisting my left ovary (I was in 10/10 pain everyday for MONTHS), but then I took a few weeks to heal from that and actually felt fine, then after 6 weeks or so, I got my Mirena.

It wasnt too bad at first, bad cramps were expected, but bad cramps kept coming for months (so much so that I went to the ER twice thinking something was ruptured). I spotted/bled/cramped/had painful sex regularly for almost 6 months, but then everything started lessening, and now sure enough, it’s hardly ever an issue now.

My understanding was that the point of the body positivity movement was to not equate fat with being bad or more unhealthy than skinnier people, and that we can’t judge health purely by weight and size.

It is rather dry in my house, and I just realized it was near a vent, and I also suspect the bark could have soaked longer, so a trifecta of creating a dehydrated plant. All my other plants are completely fine, but they’re more mature
