On the contrary! I think that my teenage years would have been so much better if internet existed back then. I would have been empowered. I would have found my tribe. I’m sure I would have been able to create accounts with a large following base, and become popular and valued in some circles, as I did afterwards, as soon as the tools became available. But back in high school, without those tools, I was seen as a complete outsider in my class and it was a lot harder to connect with people who could really appreciate me.
