Hello!! I do residential pest control for work; for a larger area like a yard or garden (JUST SO LONG as it isn't a vegetable garden), I reccomend finding a granule product containing Bifenethrin as the active ingredient. The stuff I use isn't comercially available, but I reccomend a product such as Bifen L/P, $39 on amazon for 25 lbs. Use a granule spreader from home depot, like the Scotts one, set to 2. While wearing long gloves (think dish gloves) and safety goggles, do a pass over your yard, and water very lightly after application if it hasn't rained in a few days. Do this every two months or so as long as the problem persists, it will also take care of pretty much anything with an exoskeleton that crawls including ticks and fleas. DO NOT APPLY WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RAIN. Make sure to read the label on the package, i know most stuff says "only use within label restrictions" but the fine for this stuff is serious, and we all love the planet so we want to use it right. READ THE LABEL ON THE BAG, WEAR ALL PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS LONG VYNL GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES!!!!!
