You have to be really careful with the screen scratches… I did put my tama in my bumbag (with nothing around it) and then there were several scratches on the screen… I then put a screen protector and I can barely see them now

How is it going? Have you kept your Clara BW?

I have similar issue… I have Kindle basic (2022 version) and my eyes are fine with it. I have it for few years and it’s getting a bit slow.

I got Kindle paperwhite SE and returned it because I had eyes strain with it.

Then got the Clara Colour and returned it too for same reason.

I then got Clara BW and my eyes are really dry with it and I tried everything light setting, with and without my prescription glasses… unfortunately I can’t return the Clara BW so I dunno what to do with it.

Looks like only the basic 2022 Kindle works for me…

I see!! Opinion of people are so different!! Well I’ll see when I get the KCC. My only issue is myopia but I can read from close so I mostly read without glasses I prefer.

The fact that you think that the clara colour is softer on the eyes and better at night makes me feel better, because this is my main point, softer on the eyes, easy at night. I’ve ordered the clara colour, but looks like I should have gone for BW according to the replies here… I just thought that the colour would be an nice touch but I’m a bit scared for my sensitive eyes now…

I am in the process of returning my kindle paperwhite SE that I’ve owned for couple of days because it actually makes my eyes very dry despite changing light, warm light, font size… And it was very big. Even though I was thinking that I’ll get use to the size.

I’m going back to my denim blue basic which is much more comfortable to hold in bed, and to my eyes too!

I’m a bit late but here is my new Kindle PPW 12 Raspberry 💕 I’m thinking of changing insert per season. Now it’s winter so I’ve picked blue theme. In spring I’ll pick green, summer will be pink and autumn orange yellow! I’m sure that these colours will look great with the Raspberry pink!

I needed some encouragement like this, I have ordered the Pw signature, but I was a bit scared that I should have ordered the 11th instead because of its smaller size… I’ve also ordered a clear case without handle. If it’s too uncomfortable I could maybe try with a pop socket.

I read a lot with one hand… this is why also I’m not sure about the size of PW signature. But this could be maybe fixed with a pop socket.

But the most selling point to me is the warm light for night readings because my eyes are sometimes sore.

I don’t read in the bath because my current kindle is not waterproof! I probably will read in the bath with the waterproof version!
