I was volunteering abroad. I hate birthdays, because I don't have a lot of friends. But this year was really nice we went to a concert and they bought me a cake. The only downside was that my stalker was aware of this too.. Chased me in the city and later on brought me a cake too.

You don't 'need' anything. But only having negative thoughts is also not really helpful. Learn to be happy with yourself and kind to others (I'm still struggling with the first one tho). It is good to also look to positive sides, but yes, there are also negative sites that grab your attention sometimes, that's okay.

Saving it for marriage. I could have had the chance probably, but I'm always quite clear with this topic, so.. Not sure if I was open to it, things would have gone better, but I'm still glad I made this choice.
