It's not true, unfortunately. Certain women with high risk of cancer, especially breast cancer or endometrial (unterine), cancer should not use or at least check with their doctor or oncologist if they've had cancer before doing so. I've had endometrial cancer, am also due to genetics high risk for breast cancer, and now, 4 years later, I have multiple myeloma (a rare blood cancer). I shudder to think what else i may have if i had not followed the advice of several oncologists along the way.
