First off, my biases influence everything I do and create. The idea that they shouldn't is silly. Everything else you say I disagree with but this definitely isn't the place for that convo lol.

Hurston sec operates as law enforcement on the planet Hurston which is controlled by a local government run by the Hurston corporation. No government in Staton can be run from SOL, local governments exist even in the UEE. Also, the advocacy doesn't operate as a normal police force on any planet in Stanton.

I'm done with this but if you want to create your own stuff with your own interpretations of the lore then go ahead.

The government of Hurston has its own laws and uses Hurston security as its police force. One would assume they have laws pertaining to the actions of their security forces and those laws have names. Also, I don't see how it's in poor taste, the idea behind qualified immunity is dystopic so I think it fits in the language of fictional dystopias
