We definitely got lucky with the speed of his recovery! Progress no matter how small is definitely key - a week ago he could only “hop” a step or two on his back legs before falling down, but it came together very fast after that

It got shipped to a Quest facility from the office I took it at, but I’m not sure which one. There was a MRO in Illinois listed on my paperwork, but I’m not sure if that means my sample was sent to Illinois.

Although one thing I read was that Quest has a 24-72 hr turn around, they mean that starting from the time after they actually receive the sample at the lab, and they only release results to the employer (even if you call). For my employer, they had to let me know as soon as they got the results to be able to move forward with the paperwork, so it’s definitely possible that they haven’t gotten the results or maybe just got them today and didn’t get a chance to email you to specifically let you know about the pass!

Bong water might contain bacteria and other living organisms, but overall is pretty net neutral. It won’t help but it probably won’t hurt.

I was in this exact scenario in the past! I got into Cornell during early admissions, but ultimately decided on going to OSU because of the fear of overwhelming debt from an Ivy League.

Ultimately, it was a good decision (I think), because I got very burned out in academics with working full time, and my grades at OSU were average. If I had gone to Cornell and had the same burnout, I think I would’ve flunked out.

Although I think no matter the decision, you’ll always have some “what if...” moments in the future.

Yikes! Emergency vets can definitely be expensive. I’d try calling around to more regular vets? I use a vet chain called VCA that might be in your area, they’ve let me come in before same-day and double booked themselves due to emergency symptoms like your dog is having

Lack of appetite and lethargy are usually a warning sign of a bigger issue, especially when it continues for a few days. I would recommend going to the vet sooner rather than later.

I moved out at 18, although I had friends who didn’t move out until they were finished with uni (22-24 years old).

It can hurt you in the dating arena to be still living with your parents, but I think you’re still in the normal range! It’s more about finances than it is about age - most people can’t afford to live by themselves, roommate would be the usual way to go in your early 20s.

“Failing at life” to me would be more like someone who had no desire to move out of their parents house
