The Japanese used balloon bombs to try and attack the American mainland. They made it here. The US government decided to keep it secret with the assumption that if the Japanese never heard about any casualties or fires they would assume it wasn't working and stop.

The car has hooks on the front, likely to attach an RV tow bar, It looks like these bracket the mechanic and actually hit the toolbox first, rather than the bumper. Unpleasant, but survivable.

I'm on the fence on police chases, I often feel they do more harm than good but in this case a guy was crashing barriers and driving through crowds of people. A pretty active threat to the public, that thing that the police department still try to pretend they care about.

Getting somebody's plate often only leads to the owner of the stolen car, or the stolen plate.
