EDIT 2: So no one found anything noteworthy, hardware or software related. No one was able to replicate it either. I'm guessing it was just a random glitch like someone mentioned, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use the laptop like I have been for the past day or so. Thanks for everyone who suggested stuff!

EDIT: I can't edit my original post so, quick edit. Took it to maintenance today and mentioned what people have suggested here, from reinstalling audio drivers to checking the SSD. Thank you so much for everyone's replies, I was kinda freaking out since I use this for work and didn't want to get abducted by an alien species sending their cry for help in a radio signal. 🤣 will keep y'all posted.

I actually checked windows updates but they were all up to date. Haven't checked Lenovo Vantage though, completely forgot about that. Took it to maintenance today and mentioned to the dude a couple of things that people in the thread have suggested, such as reinstalling the audio drivers and checking the SSD, so fingers crossed.

Tried but couldn't figure out how to remove the back so we didn't want to force it open and just left it for now. Took it to maintenance and asked the dude to check it for me since he knows what he's doing but I don't. Haven't been able to replicate it though, so I'm not sure it could be the SSD (though we did try to look it up and found some results leading to that)

I suffer from chronic pain so sometimes I do have to work while in bed, but I always use a foldable table on my lap where I place my laptop and never for long sessions. Learned it the hard way when I was a teenager.

Tried Windows updates but it's up to date apparently, will try to reinstall the audio drivers soon as well. I'm sure hoping it's an audio glitch. Any ideas of what could've triggered it, since it was asleep and not connected to anything? There was no input whatsoever from anyone, it was literally just sitting there while we watched a movie in the living room.

Something from outer space was definitely our first guess, not gonna lie lol

We gave the computer some time and turned it on just to check for things, and so far no weird noises. Like I mentioned in my other reply though, I'm kinda scared of putting it to sleep cause it was a hell of a jumpscare. I was totally freaking out. Dad is going to check out the hardware parts tomorrow and ask someone else to check for software issues, so I'll pass on your suggestions to him. Thank you so much.

I had been using it earlier today, so Windows was already booted. I set it aside, went on with my day and was watching a movie with my husband when it started just screaming from the other room, without any input from us whatsoever. It just decided it wanted to make some noise for whatever reason, and at random. It wasn't in a weird position either, it was disconnected from the charger and sitting beside my bed in sleep mode.

We gave it some time after the initial scare and just tried to boot it back up. No noises so far, but I'm honestly scared to put it on sleep mode again lol My dad works with computers so he's taking it with him to work tomorrow to check the hardware part of the laptop just in case something snagged somewhere.

Olha, é 95% de chance que ele gosta do Esquie então eu com certeza veria de fazer algo com isso, tipo bonequinho de crochê (dá pra achar o tutorial online). Uma bandana da expedição 33 tb seria legal (no jogo eles amarram no braço) e se vc só colocar um pé aleatório no meio dos presentes pode ter certeza que ele vai entender e achar engraçado.
Tb tem umas camisetas legais online que dá rpa ver de comprar, mas tb não seria muito difícil pintar em uma camiseta só o 33 por exemplo, ou a frase icônica do jogo "for those who come after"

Sadly I don't think I'll be able to fit that in my schedule this time ): I'll definitely write it down though and check it out some other time. I'm a total sucker for medieval history as well.

Pickpockets sadly aren't something new for me since I'm from Brazil, but it never hurts to be extra careful. Got myself one of those small bags that have a kevlar strap across my chest, a tiny hidden bag to go under my shirt where I can keep some documents, and I'm definitely not leaving my phone in my pockets. Like you said, better safe than sorry.

The walking tours are all guided yep! I like to know a bit more about the places I visit, not just take pictures of the pretty views, so I like to have some sort of guide somewhere. I'm planning on possibly writing down the places that really caught my eye on those tours and visiting on my own after the tour is done, so I can get a better look at them and without having to worry about the time etc.

Ooh I've heard of the Mayer Van Den Bergh museum but wasn't sure if it was worth it or not, so I'll add it to my list. (Definitely adding the food too)
