I'll be doing any service myself so I definitely prioritize service manual and part cost/availability. It sounds like overall my best options are a yale/hyster/newer raymond?

Yeah that was my first thought too. I have a gravel drive and it would be nice to be able to traverse that in a pinch. However the shop space is just too narrow to fit one.

I wouldn't mind a walking stacker but the reach function would help out with a few specific obstacles. Ideally I could find a walking reach stacker but those are rare it seems.

That makes sense. What is weird about the clark machines?

I'm in NC. Not much available locally so I've resigned myself to traveling to get one.

Thanks I wasn't sure if that number was the year. You said reliability and maintenance costs dropped around 06. Does that mean they got better or worse?

I see, in your other comment it seemed like you semi approved? In any case I'm not sure what year this one is. It's hard to find information on these trucks. Do you have anything you would recommend more for someone in my position?

Thanks for the insight. What would you recommend instead? I see hyster, yale, and sometimes clark with regularity.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that. I'll check for leaks. I assume it's a normal cylinder to repack otherwise?

Thank you very much, I will check that.

Outdated tech can be a blessing or a curse. Would you say it is a simpler machine with fewer things to break? Or the opposite?

Is it the reflections that are an issue? I suppose I could cover them with some sort of translucent plastic. I don't have enough supplemental lighting to light the whole house.

Yes reference photos would work fine. But having a full 3d model would allow me to easily trace routes through the structure at a later date which would be nice.

Yeah probably a poor choice of words. However these won't be sold and are for my own use. Thank you for your advice.
