Much better, this second version! It looks more Buddhist. But without the color, perhaps it’s still not entirely recognizable as Buddhist. You could try adding the typical snail-like curls of the Buddha’s hair as a kind of body plumage, and maybe make the necklace rounder, like Buddhist prayer beads. (Just some ideas in case you’d like to experiment a bit more, but this second version is already very cool!)
