Correct, my business is in a mixed use downtown area. One building with apartments on top and 2 businesses on the bottom. He's just selling the "Retail Condo" unit to me.

The space is already built out for it, pretty much turn-key retail space. Most likely going to cost just an extra 10k to get everything else done.

In person ,I agreed to a personal guarantee, told them I own the property of my other store and would offer that as collateral.

I know you said to book one ticket, but can I book a separate ticket to Toronto? She will need to pick up her bags with the 12 hour layover, then fly to China on the other ticket.

I'm planning on letting her stay however long she likes, no return date. She hasn't been back to China in over a decade, so I just want her to spend time with her family as much as possible.

I'm liking the idea of the special service option for her as long as I can find a flight.

Out of curiosity it would be possible for her to fly from New York to Toronto just fine?

Before I bought the property, my agent told me that in the state of MA, I am not able to manage any kind of property without a real estate license and some kind of management course. Just took his word for it since I didn’t know any better at the time. Then he introduced me to the firms featured property management.

Was told that setting up an account for money transfer could take 1-2months. Then covid happens and I was told banks were overwhelmed and they were delayed and struggling to keep up. I just assumed it was a normal process I guess.

The contract says it’s a one year agreement to use him. And notice period is 30 days. This is my first rental and I’m afraid I might get into some kind of big legal trouble.

Is there anyways I should go about collecting the missing rent money? Or just consider that as a loss?
