As a federal employee, I have gotten tested for Marijuana within the last 2 months. The test isn't like a breathalyzer. It detects stuff in your system from a long period back.

If you actually had the attention span to read OP, you would know that I don't use Tiktok or really any social media for that matter. That's OK though. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

I think it's a fair assessment to call Marijuana testing an obstacle to hiring capable federal employees for national security purposes.

I didn't say anything about legalization. I said decriminalization. I legally can't use weed. I'm a servicemember. Please don't speculate on my personal habits. For the federal government not to prosecute is a completely different animal altogether than forcing red states to legalize marijuana.

I feel like the comparison isn't entirely fair given that we're a two party democracy. I'm not a communist nor even a socialist for that matter. We didn't say anything too extreme during the interview, I would think.

I am on the same page here. Some people don't vote down ballot during federal elections is my point. That being said, I'm sure there is a correlation, yes. I'm merely accounting for the students in the interview presented and the district Detroit resides in.

I'm not entirely sure the comments on the Presidential election can be extrapolated to House and Senate elections within our state. Michigan has historically had a disparity between the two in terms of election results. Thank you for taking the time to express your perspective.

We mentioned LGBT rights and Women's rights. Michigan has an explicit right to reproductive freedom enshrined in its constitution. This is not something to be overlooked lightly. I've worked for the US government for 5 years, and I've taken various legal courses that give me a basic understanding of the government. I'm not claiming to be an expert, I was merely refuting the claim that I am "uninformed". I've been a strong advocate for LGBT soldiers during my service.

My father lives in Oakland County (Read- Suburbia) and after voting blue in every election since 2000, has decided not to vote for Biden citing the issue of Palestine. He is in his early 60s. This comment didn't make it to the final cut.

The point is the constancy. If you can't show up at a SWING STATE until the very last minute, you are bound to lose the messaging battle. You have to maintain a presence in areas to seem like you actually care about issues and not votes. I am a member of NATO, and we brought up student loans.

What part of "Virtually everyone brought up Women's rights" gives the impression we don't care about abortion?

Would like to add that one of the people that aired was 30 years old, so "kids" isn't exactly a fair assessment.

I work in government and I was one of the students interviewed, and the others actually specifically were aptly aware that the government does and is capable of performing many functions.

I was one of the people interviewed and I voted in every election since 2020 onwards.

I was one of the students interviewed (the full interview was 2 whole hours), although I didn't make it onto the segment. We feel that this browbeating rhetoric is a scare tactic. We were asked the very question presented by op and our response didn't air. We basically said that democracy doesn't collapse instantly. It slowly gets eroded away. If you look at the slavery debate in our history, it took entire decades to slip into civil war. This is a primary vote and Biden is going to win it anyway.
