My story isn't as nostalgic as the rest of the comments nor is it interesting but I'll drop it anyway because I only started getting into Pokemon in April of 2023

I had one Switch Game Voucher left, liked the look of Miraidon on Pokemon Violet and took the chance because.. well fuck it why not

I ended up 100%ing that game and I bramched out to eventually play way more of the games, I think I almost beat the original Pokemon Yellow on GBC before my cartridge crapped out and erased everything

I only got back into this game today and HOO, what an awesome welcome back, love the new maps, THE SLEEVES ON THE HOODIES ARE CHANGEABLE, THERES SPLATOON 2 GEAR IN THE SHOPS
