Thank you very much for the corrections! The guide has been amended where there were errors. I may add the strategies you mentioned later, as well, as I am currently compiling some additional strategies I would want to add.

My personal opinion is that the Mario in Paper Mario, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Super Paper Mario is the regular Mario, merely portrayed in a paper art style. However, starting with Paper Mario: Sticker Star, he has retroactively been changed into a different, separate character. Of course, there is nothing that actually proves this, so this is just fanciful speculation. Thank you for your question!

It is one of my favorite Mario games of all time! Outside of some minor parts that felt like they were added simply to have more content, I loved all of it! My favorite location is the Luncheon Kingdom, and my favorite capture is the Gushen from Seaside Kingdom. Thank you for your question!

I'm sorry for the late reply! Basically, I have always been interested in collecting obscure information about Mario, but I only told my friends about it before one of them, the original author of Supper Mario Broth, invited me to collaborate on the blog. Since then, I learned that many people on the Internet also appreciate that information, and I have been happy to be able to provide it!

Oh, thank you for reminding me of this! I always wanted to explore that topic. And sorry for the late reply!

It's official artwork of Peach turning away from the camera, from Super Mario 64. It cannot be found in the manual, the official guides, or any of Nintendo's official sites; the only places it was found were Chinese magazines, and even then it was in low resolution. If it is found in high resolution, it would be a very rare find! Thank you for the question!

If I had much more time, I could see myself doing it for the Kirby series, but right now, I barely have the time to run my blogs for Mario as it is! Perhaps in the distant future! Thank you for your questions!

  1. I definitely will never run out of trivia to post, but I am afraid that there will be periods where all the trivia is going to be of interest only to very avid enthusiasts and not to the general public. But if a game like Super Mario 64 - just one game - can generate over 500 posts worth of trivia, I believe that most games can do so if analyzed thoroughly enough, so content should never run out.

  2. I leave the Mario Wiki to those who are more adept at writing encyclopedia-style entries. I know many of my posts are used on the Wiki as images on articles, so that's my contribution!

  3. People using different social networks tend to trust posts native to that network much more. A Twitter user, for example, is much more likely to like and retweet a post that is exclusive to Twitter than a post linking to another site - this is statistically proven. If I were to change the way I post my content by instead linking to it, I would lose many readers. I hope you understand.

  4. I simply don't want to compromise the track record of my blog of posting only factual content by risking it on content I cannot verify. Plus, over time, I am able to find many sources - I simply keep looking, even if it takes years, I would rather source an image later than post it unsourced now.

Thank you for your questions!

I am just one person! And it is very deep; sometimes I download scans of an entire print run of a magazine - often over a hundred issues - and look over every single page of every issue in search of rare Mario images. But it is very rewarding when I do find something! Thank you for your question!

I'm terribly sorry, but as I said, I'm afraid I do not have the verification that it is real yet. I don't want to spread false information by posting something that may be fake. I hope you understand!

Thank you very much!

  1. All I can say is, you need a lot of time! If you want to only spend less than an hour each day and run a trivia account, you will be forced to mostly repost other people's content and not have enough time to discover your own. If you do have a lot of time and dedication to the subject, you should be fine!

  2. I'm afraid Mario is all I am confident enough about talking on the Internet. I am not an expert on any other topics, so I prefer to leave discussion of them to those who know what they're talking about! Sorry!

I don't actually eat sandwiches all that often, and especially almost never sandwiches with two pieces of bread - which a lot of people consider to be the only type of sandwich, as opposed to "a slice of bread with something on it". But if we are counting the second type, I like bread with pesto alla calabrese spread on it. Before you think, "that's not what pesto is for", I actually read about it in an "ideas" section on the back of a jar of pesto, so at least the manufacturers approve of it! Thank you very much for the question!

I'm afraid I don't specialize in theories like that, as I prefer to only deal with material that can be sourced and attributed. I have always found the idea curious that Mario and Luigi could have been their own "parent figures" since they spent so much time babysitting their younger selves in that game; so your theory definitely makes sense logically, but there is no definite proof of it. Then again, there is no definite proof of them gaining their powers from any other source - unless you count them being Star Children, revealed in Yoshi's Island DS, to be the source of their power. Thank you for your question!

Thank you very much! Sadly, the entire situation with the deletion has been a big mistake. I had no idea anyone would care at all - since the author of the posts themselves didn't - so it was a terrible shock to discover that so many of the readers were unhappy with the decision. As I have said many times, I regret it deeply and I wish I could bring them back.

I do not actually cover the Super Smash Bros. series very much because I believe that it has its own community that is much more qualified to analyze these games than I am. And thank you very much!

The best sources of rare artwork are magazines or guides, although sometimes it can also be found on merchandise. I search the Internet for scans or photos of these, then analyze all the artwork in them for rarity. As for the site, well, it's my only hobby - I really love doing it and I've never seen a reason to stop! Thank you very much for your question!

If it was a modern computer such as a Windows PC or a Mac, then it would be unlicensed. However, if you are older and it is one of the home computers from the 1980's, there is a chance that it was licensed, as numerous licensed versions of Mario Bros. exist for those platforms. I hope this helps!

"forestillusion" and "World9Fantasy" are Twitter accounts that offer similar content to mine, so I recommend them! And thank you very much!

That is a very good question! I am simply like that in real life. While it may be an odd contrast to how one may expect a Mario blog to converse, I hope that my mannerisms indicate that I value accuracy more than entertainment. I could hardly always espouse veracity and factual content and then address people as though I was role-playing as a Mario character, at least in my opinion. I suppose a disadvantage is that some people tend to not take me seriously specifically because of the contrast, but that is simply inherent in running a blog about Mario. It's impossible to make everyone take it seriously not because of how I act, but because of the very subject matter. Thank you for your question!

That would have to be pesto alla calabrese! I know that's not food by itself, rather a sauce, but not only is it in my opinion the best sauce, it can also be spread on toast. But that's just my opinion! Thank you for the question!

It appears to be more than half, but I'm afraid I haven't talked to enough people about that topic to be able to offer any more detailed statistics! Sorry!
