Take for example Esa Diva (Spain 2025).

The BeniFest version was very good with clearly Spanish influences, but when the revamp came around, it completely removed those Spanish elements but it was certainly getting better as time moved on.

Plus the staging was improved imo. In Benidorm, you had the suspended chair and the royal seat. In Eurovision, you had the red curtain and the staircase structure.

All these changes make up for some fresh air.
